SUCCESS STORIES

Oscar Palaces - Houghton University, NY (Class 2019)

I played my last 2 years of high school at Ambassadors, in which I grew a lot as a player and person. This time served to focus on my goal, which was to play soccer and study in the United States. This process was a bit long and stressful at the same time, but the advice that Ambassadors gave me was very helpful. Likewise, they helped me find the schools in which I would fit best and were always attentive so that I could submit all the requirements for the university (exams, transcripts, forms, etc.). Throughout this process I was very excited about what was to come for my education and my life as a soccer player, and Ambassadors helped me achieve my goals.

Jaime Tellez - Arkansas State University, Queretaro (Class 2019)

I was a player and captain of Ambassadors for two years. During my stay at the club I was part of the university advisory program which has the objective of promoting players to national and international universities in order to aspire to a sports scholarship. Thanks to the program I was able to obtain the highest scholarship within the soccer team at Arkansas State University Campus Queretaro. The process to get to this point was not easy. My daily routine was demanding since I spent 6 hours at school, finishing my classes I trained athletics for 2 hours; this in order to have better performance in football. After athletics I went to Ambassadors so I could train soccer. Finishing my sports activities, I fulfilled my school responsibilities, studying and doing homework, sleeping late to be able to comply. In the end the effort was worth it, I am in one of the best universities in the country, with great opportunities for sports and school/work.

Iann Briones - Houghton University, NY (Class 2022)

I am currently studying at Houghton University in NY, I spent 2 years at Ambassadors and being there changed my life completely.

Ambassadors helped me with some advice which was very important for me to be studying in the USA today, since they made the entire process easier for me. Some challenges that I faced in this process were: investing a lot of time in filling out documents and exams that the university asked of me, perfecting another language and preparing for the university team.

All this was worth it since now I am living a dream and being here changes your life completely.

Ambassadors helped me a lot and thanks to them I am here, Ambassadors is an incredible place which makes you feel important and the people you meet there shape your life and you consider them FAMILY.

Patricio Carmona - University of St. Francis, IN (Class 2022)

I am currently studying in the United States at the University of Saint Francis. I was with Ambassadors for 1 year. They helped me improve not only as a soccer player but also as a person. Ambassadors gave me the opportunity to play with their advice in which they helped me a lot since it was the first step to begin the process of entering university. The beginning was difficult and also because like the other players, I wanted to stand out so that the universities would focus on me. On the other hand, the consultancies helped me a lot because it made the universities see me play, making them know me better and possibly want me on their soccer team. In the end, all this is worth it. They teach you that you can always improve at something. Throughout this process, I felt incredible, it is something you only experience once in your life and it is something that can bring you great success for your future as an athlete and as a student.

Alan Montaño – Westcliff University, CA (Class 2022)

I am currently studying my first year of university in California with Westcliff University. I was able to come thanks to Ambassadors, I was in Ambassadors for almost 2 years and without a doubt they were the best so far. I started with university advising from day 1 because I had the mission of being able to come to the United States, it is a long process and many times you don't know if you are doing well or if you are going to succeed, but I had to continue working. Already with Ambassadors I understood that school was also an important issue, since I started with Ambassadors and until now I continue to receive help and advice from Phill and Juan Ca. It is difficult not to know how you are doing or if you are good enough to fill the eye of a coach but in the end it is worth it and it is an incredible experience apart from at Ambassadors I made a family with the staff, players and even parents so it was the best decision to join Ambassadors.

Diego Romero - Crown College, MN (Class 2022)

I am at Crown College in Minnesota, I spent 1 year at Ambassadors and that year I was there changed my life, they helped me a lot to fulfill my dream of coming to the United States to study and play soccer, the challenges I faced were several, both personally, at school, in football, in everything, but the truth is that Ambassadors helped me a lot to overcome obstacles and improve as a person, it feels very good to know that you fulfilled your dream and above all to be part of a great institution like is Ambassadors, I will truly be grateful for life to them and my heart will always be Blue and White.

Diego Candia - Westcliff University, CA (Class 2022)

I am currently at Westcliff University in Irvine, California, I was at Ambassadors for 1 year and a half, the truth is Ambassadors is a different club, with a family atmosphere, but of course this club not only formed me as a person, but as a soccer player, we had several visits with a high level of football, something that one looks for and with university coaches who at the end of the day also contribute and teach, Westcliff saw my video, they saw me in Mexico thanks to Ambassadors and they offered me a contract and scholarship to be in his team, at the beginning it was seen as something impossible, but if you really put your mind to it, put in the dedication, desire, and remain humble and grateful, things will happen on their own.
